I work at a jewelry store and we work with people all over the country and even overseas. The store is Littman Jewelers in the Pittsburgh Mills Mall and it is a nice store. My point is that when we get phone calls from Oregon and New York City and the people we talk to can hardly speak any english and it is frustrating. How would you like it if every time they ask you a question and you have to have them repeat it about 70 billion times. I am frustrated with going to the food court and seeing all of the asian people coming up to me asking if I want to try a bite of their horrible food. Now they have actual speaking english workers doing that. I can't understand why we continue to put up with this nonsense when we can do something about it. We are the United State of America and we have that freedom to tell them off but we are told to act polite because of whatever reason. Well I am not putting up with it anymore.
I am also tired when I have to call for customer service on a specific item such as having trouble with my credit card and I get someone overseas who can barely understand me. I am left on the phone for longer period of time than what it should have taken but no one does anything about this. Why don't companies keep those jobs here in America than shipping them overseas? The answer is that it is cheaper but the bottom line is that those companies are losing out on sales because of Americans not putting up with this anymore.
