I work at a jewelry store and we work with people all over the country and even overseas. The store is Littman Jewelers in the Pittsburgh Mills Mall and it is a nice store. My point is that when we get phone calls from Oregon and New York City and the people we talk to can hardly speak any english and it is frustrating. How would you like it if every time they ask you a question and you have to have them repeat it about 70 billion times. I am frustrated with going to the food court and seeing all of the asian people coming up to me asking if I want to try a bite of their horrible food. Now they have actual speaking english workers doing that. I can't understand why we continue to put up with this nonsense when we can do something about it. We are the United State of America and we have that freedom to tell them off but we are told to act polite because of whatever reason. Well I am not putting up with it anymore.

I am also tired when I have to call for customer service on a specific item such as having trouble with my credit card and I get someone overseas who can barely understand me. I am left on the phone for longer period of time than what it should have taken but no one does anything about this. Why don't companies keep those jobs here in America than shipping them overseas? The answer is that it is cheaper but the bottom line is that those companies are losing out on sales because of Americans not putting up with this anymore.

this is just a quick post. I just found out on monday that I will be having a little boy on july 25th!!!!! My fiancee and I are very excited. We also celebrated our 3 year anniversary on monday too. So he is very excited to find out that he will be having a son. I am a little disappointed because I was looking forward to have a girl but the ultrasound showed that the baby is doing great and he is very healthy too. So I am very blessed so far to have such a healthy baby.

The Hypocritical Al Gore

Al Gore is pretty much the leader in Global Warming. But many of you might not know that he is putting us down for the energy that we use but thinks it is ok for him to use that same energy but in much higher levels. What I mean is that Al Gore is living in a 20 room mansion, driving an SUV and flying on a private charter plane. His home burns through more electricity in a month than the average American family does in a year. He claims that climate change is a "moral issue". Al Gore should not preach about global climate change because he is doing more harm to the atmosphere than you and I.

Illegal Immigrants caught

In the news the other week I heard a story that three top executives were caught using illegal immigrants in the U.S. These men were part of a cleaning company which "Dave and Busters" were using. 63 raids were carried out in 17 states including Pennsylvania. Has anyone ever thought how many illegal immigrants are caught every year versus how many come across the Mexican-U.S. border each year?

In 2005 the federal government deported an amazing 200,000 illegal immigrants where as approximately 500,000 come in and stay illegally. More than 100,00 illegal immigrants caught in 2005 were able to "slip" through the officials hands. In researching the above question many websites are often estimating these numbers so they are not exact but pretty close. It is estimated that there is between 11 million and 13 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. as of last year.

I just can't get over these astounding numbers.

I read an article with TribTotal Media and the headline was "Illegal immigrants face crackdown in Pennsylvania". This article was written in July of 2006. This story had happened in Pittsburgh PA. A Guatemalan farm worker was caught with 15 illegal immigrants inside of a van. Diego-Pablo was also caught with another Mexican named Juan-Manuel. Both of these men were caught before. Diego has been caught at another time and sent back to Mexico and Juan has been caught 10 different times and sent back each time. How are these men getting away with coming back to this country? This is causing major tax payer money and the government isn't doing much about it. The only way these men and others like them are being caught either at local or state road check points.

illegal immigration and what it is doing to our country

How would you feel if you found out that Mexicans would be using our U.S. roads for shipping their cargo? Well you won't have to wait long to find out because the U.S. Transportation has given Mexicans their wish. There will be 100 Mexican trucking companies using these roads for a one-year pilot program. But the upside might be that the Mexicans will allow 100 U.S. trucking companies in their country.

A very unsettling move in politics

How many people can you think of that have credit cards? Bank of America is planning on giving out credit cards to illegal immigrants. They have no social security numbers and they shouldn't be in this country anyways but they are the ones who are getting credit. It took me two years to get good enough credit to get my own vehicle without having a co-signer. These illegal immigrants are getting credit quicker and a lot easier. They are able to buy homes without having a social security card because they are issued personal identification numbers also known as "Individual Taxpayer Identification Number". I never knew they gave these out to people let alone illegal immigrants.

This website is for an organization who speaks out against the illegal immigrants.

Former Governor Jeb Bush of Florida in 2004 even tried to pass a bill that would allow illegal immigrants to get their driver's license. But many people protested against it and the bill failed. The media portrays this as a good thing because it will increase the U.S. economy but in reality people who are here being born or legal aliens are losing jobs as we speak to countries overseas and homeland jobs are being lost. It will be even harder to find a job when we graduate because of this job loss to American citizens.

Global Warming

With the warm temperatures being around in early january everyone was up in arms about global warming and what will become of the earth. Even though it is warm in this part of the United States, it is actually abnormally colder in the western part of the U.S. Also, what about northern New York getting over 140 inches of snow in like two weeks? My belief in global warming is that it is all bogus. The reason being is because the earth goes through many changes that scientists always want to put words on but in reality it can't be described. I don't feel like the earth is going to get so hot that it kills everything off of her. I do feel that humans have caused a disruption in the flow of the earth but we are on top of the food chain and the only way to adapt is to make changes. We need cars to get to and from work, school, and whereever else we may need to go. I don't understand why Democrats make it such a big deal when it really is not that big of a deal. I have started listening to 104,7 on the radio, which is pretty much a conservative Republican view. If you have ever listened to Glenn Beck or even Michael Savage you know what I am talking about.

Democrats blow things way out of proportion and Republicans just doesn't give you enough information so who is right or wrong in this issue? You be the judge of that.
